About Us

Kelly Cullinane

Kelly Cullinane Director of Communications

Kelly has worked for the Electric Infrastructure Security Council since August 2015 where she serves as the Director of Communications. Kelly is responsible for developing communication strategies that help advance the Council’s efforts to impact the resilience of lifeline infrastructures through the sharing of effective ideas and practices. In addition, she manages the logistics for all of the Council’s internal and external activities with the goal bringing together stakeholders from various backgrounds.

Prior to joining the EIS Council, Kelly worked for the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) where she assisted in the development of the Electric Sector Coordinating Council (ESCC) that serves as the principal liaison between leadership in the federal government and the electric power sector, with the mission of coordinating efforts to prepare for national-level incidents or threats to critical infrastructure.

Kelly earned her B.A. in Politics from the University of Dallas and her M.A in Statecraft and National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics. Kelly lives with her husband in Washington, DC.
